About Animated 3d Graphics 3d Animation is an incredibly useful tool for visualisation purposes. Whether it's for accident or historical reconstructions or for visualising events and conferences prior to set building, 3d graphics are cost effective and precise. Once the 3d model has been constructed other simulation factors come into play. Real world textures are applied to give the objects realistic surfaces. Windows must reflect light but must also be transparent. Metal surfaces such as cars must have the right degree of gloss whereas road surfaces must appear gritty. Lighting is applied in much the same way as it is in real life. The direction and strength of the light is crucial, as are realistic shadows, both of which will reflect the weather conditions and time of day. Finally, cameras are set in position just like film cameras. Unlike film cameras, however, there is no limit to how many you can use, where you want to place them or how you want them to move. |
